Why is OSEAS charging a registration fee?
To enhance your experience and ensure spaces are reserved for committed participants, this year’s symposium will include a modest € 50 registration fee, partly covering event costs,
A limited number of waivers are available to maintain inclusivity.
This event remains nonprofit and fully dedicated to advancing open-source innovation in energy access.
How can I access a registration fee waiver?
We have a limited number of waivers available, reserved for individuals who genuinely cannot afford the registration fee and coming from Sub-Saharan Africa. If you wish to apply for a waiver, please email oseas@enaccess.org with a brief explanation (under 200 words) detailing why you are requesting free registration and why you should be considered. Kindly note that we are unable to cover travel or accommodation expenses.

Depending on your nationality, a visa might be required to enter Rwanda.

Transportation
The easiest way to get around is to order an Uber or Bolt. You can also make arrangements with your hotel for transportation to and from your hotel.

We’ve added a great feature this year to facilitate connection between participants - the Whova app. Through the event’s app, you can set-up your profile, browse the agenda, and connect with speakers and participants. You can even find recommendations on places to visit in Nairobi and surrounding areas.
Refund
Participation may be canceled with full refund (less €5 processing fee) provided written notification is received any time up until 45 days prior to the conference start date. Cancellation of registration and refund requests should be submitted in writing to oseas@enaccess.org
